Le sigh. I tried to install a new bittorrent program, and it killed my eeePC. Bob insists that I didn't really kill it, it was the program's fault, but I still hold that I clicked the "install" button. Luckily though, Bob re-installed Ubuntu and it works again. Hurrah! Weee I have an eee pc. It is a 900 model (linux) in white. I think I shall call it Blanche. Only not, because that´d be quite ridiculous. It will most likely spend it´s life being referred to as ´the chibi computer´.
